The firm's founder, Kathleen M. Moffit, has an extensive background as a New York health law attorney , including holding positions as

  • VP of Legal Affairs for Med Excel, a healthcare management corporation, where she was counsel and advisor to the organization on multiple  legal and corporate management issues including contract writing, contract review, and physician employment contract negotiations
  • Legal counsel for the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives, serving as counsel on the state's health care committees
  • Attorney for VA Hospitals with the Department of Veterans Affairs in New York

Kathleen M Moffit is also a registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner. She has worked as a critical care registered nurse in intensive care units and emergency departments, hospital administration, and as a nurse practitioner hospitalist.
